About Me

I graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2015 from Deakin University. After finishing university I began working shortly after in Early Childhood Intervention Services provided for children with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding in Geelong. I have since been working with children aged from birth through to 12 years of age. After working in Early Childhood Intervention Services in Geelong, I worked in the NDIS as an Early Childhood Early Intervention practitioner, sitting with families to develop their early childhood NDIS plan before returning to work in Early Childhood Intervention in Wyndham. I have a passion for working with children to achieve positive outcomes and advocating for inclusion for children with disability and developmental delay. With years of experience working with a range of conditions including cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, chromosomal conditions, intellectual disability, developmental delay, medical conditions etc. I aim to support children through various stages of their childhood. I have experience completing NDIS funded home modifications, assistive technology assessment and prescription, supporting families in NDIS meetings, functional assessment, individualised therapy and collaborating with other allied health professionals. I have completed a range of additional trainings and continue to seek out continued professional development to stay up-to-date with the most relevant information as it is released. Some relevant additional training fields completed include:

  • Special purpose car seats (MACA trained)

  • Equipment prescription and assessment

  • Toilet training

  • Autism

  • Mental health

  • Minor and Complex home modifications

  • Behaviour

  • Sensory Processing

  • Emotional regulation

  • Inclusion

I am a strong believer that intervention in the child's natural environment produces the most successful outcomes and educating those around the child builds a community of understanding and inclusion. This is why my services are provided in the child's important locations.

I look forward to supporting you and your child on their journey to achieve positive outcomes.
